MoMA M40 Watch

UW+ is series of products developed in partnership with like-minded, creative brands and institutions in strictly limited numbers. The first ‘+’ release is a watch produced for the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Based on Uniform Wares’ bestselling M40 case architecture, the limited edition design has the same modernist appeal as the rest of the brand’s M-Line collection. However, its minimalist aesthetic is taken a step further with a simple two-hand function and layered dial. The lugless watch case features a multi-layer dial with combination vertical and radial-brushed and polished finishes, cut-out dial markings and an etched minute track. The Uniform Wares and MoMA logo etched on the case back.

As with all watches in the Uniform Wares collection, the limited edition M40 has a high-calibre, Swiss made ETA movement with 7 jewels, a scratch-resistant sapphire lens and is water resistant to 5ATM. The watch features a cherry shell cordovan leather strap specifically produced for MoMA at our partnership tannery in England and is embossed with the UW+ and MoMA logos on the underside.

Strictly limited to 150 pieces, the Uniform Wares + MoMA watch is available to purchase exclusively at MoMA New York City and MoMA Tokyo design store outlets as well as at the MoMA Store Online.
